Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of paid nanny experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Previous experience with toddlers is preferred.
• Pet-friendly environment (family has a friendly dog).

Responsibilities

• Engage in age-appropriate activities to support development.
• Read books, introduce vocabulary, and support milestones.
• Ensure safety, especially as child learns to walk.
• Engage in active play and move around the floor.
• Assist with feeding, diaper changes, and nap routines.
• Take the baby for walks and supervise at all times.
• Be comfortable with and supportive of the child’s use of hearing aids.
• Work with parents who work from home and may be present.
• Maintain a screen-free environment with educational play.
• Manage child’s laundry and clean up after meals/activities.
• Follow established feeding, napping, and play schedules.
• Be open to learning about the child’s needs and accommodations.

Position Type: Part-Time, Long-Term Contract

Schedule:

Monday: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Total: 15 hours per week

Salary: $25-$30 per hour

Description: A warm and loving family is seeking an experienced, patient, and kind nanny to join their family long-term and help care for their active and joyful 13-month-old. Both parents work from home and appreciate a nanny who is comfortable with their presence around the house. Their child wears hearing aids, so they need someone who has experience working with children with special accommodations or is open to learning about these needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in age-appropriate activities that support the child’s development
• Read books, introduce new vocabulary, and support the child’s developmental milestones
• Ensure the child’s safety at all times, especially while he is learning to walk
• Engage in active play, move around on the floor, and navigate stairs with ease
• Assist with feeding, diaper changes, and putting the baby down for naps
• Take the baby for walks
• Be comfortable with and supportive of the child’s use of hearing aids
• Work collaboratively with parents who work from home and may be present
• Maintain a screen-free environment, focusing on interactive and educational play
• Manage the child’s laundry and clean up after meals and activities
• Follow established routines and schedules for feeding, naps, and playtime
• Be open to learning about the child’s specific needs and accommodations
