Job summary

The Cradle Company in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI, is seeking a warm, reliable nanny/family assistant for their 7-month-old son. This long-term role offers a flexible schedule with 30 hours a week guaranteed, potentially 40 for the right candidate, and occasional travel with the family.

You'll provide attentive infant care, follow feeding and sleep routines, prepare bottles and meals, engage in developmentally appropriate activities, and help with light household tasks when the mother or family

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants and toddlers.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to travel with family occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, developmentally appropriate care for baby.
• Follow feeding, nap, and daily routines.
• Prepare bottles and nutritious, age-appropriate meals.
• Engage baby in reading, sensory play, outdoor walks, and developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized nursery and play areas.
• Wash, fold, and put away baby’s laundry.
• Pack and unpack baby items for outings and travel.
• Assist with light family tasks and errands.
• Drive for outings when needed.
