Job summary

Nanny Poppins Agency in Birmingham, MI is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny to care for three children aged 1, 3, and 5. You’ll work 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, with one late day per week and some flexibility in hours.

The family travels about three times a year and provides a private room on trips. Responsibilities include caring for the 1-year-old all day, assisting the 3-year-old after preschool, and supervising the 5-year-old for about an hour daily.

Qualifications

Compensation: $25-$35/hour
Commitment: Full-time, long-term, live-out
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM (one day per week runs later; some flexibility on hours)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview:

A warm, fun-loving family in Birmingham, MI is looking for a full-time nanny to join their home on a long-term basis. The family has three children, ages 1, 3, and 5. The nanny will care for the 1-year-old throughout the day. The 3-year-old attends preschool and joins in the afternoon, and the 5-year-old is in your care for about an hour each day. You'll have all three children together for roughly one hour a day. Parents handle school drop-offs and pickups.

You’ll work alongside a hands-on parent in a collaborative, team-oriented setting. The family wants someone who is very organized, very patient, and caring, and who can juggle several things at once while keeping the day fun. A playful, silly side is a big plus. Since the home is large, you’ll help keep the children’s spaces and the shared family areas tidy, and you’ll teach the kids to clean up as the day goes on. A cleaning service comes weekly for deep cleaning.

The family travels about three times a year and would love their nanny to join them. Travel expenses are fully covered, and you’ll have your own room and private bathroom on trips.
