THREE FORKS PUBLIC SCHOOLS is seeking a long term substitute for Middle and High School English/Language Arts. The role supports 8–9 weeks, with a daily sub rate for 30 days followed by a teaching contract for the remainder.

Location: Three Forks High School, Three Forks, MT. Start date TBD; reports to Middle and High School Principals. Must hold MT Class 2 Teaching License or obtain one, and demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops courses following district and state guidelines.
• Develops and presents diverse lesson plans using lectures, projects, group work and technology.
• Prepares assignments and tests; monitors, corrects and grades student work.
• Conducts standardized tests in line with policy and law.
• Maintains classroom order and enforces discipline as needed.
• Collaborates with teachers and aides; shares supervision duties.
• Counsels students on academics and behavior as needed.
• Keeps records of performance, attendance and student progress; reports to parents.
