Job summary

Wander Staffing seeks a Psychologist to serve as a Behavioral Health Provider for ICE Health Services Corps in Florence, AZ. The role involves psychological assessments, testing, individual and group therapy, and case management for detainees within a Modified Therapeutic Community framework.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with medical staff on risk and housing decisions, and contribute to suicide prevention and staff training.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program is required.
• Minimum one year of clinical practice as a licensed psychologist; waiver possible with 8-11 months.
• Full, current, unrestricted doctoral-level psychology license in Arizona.
• Meet requirements for National Registry of Psychologist Providers and Health Service Psychology provider.
• BLS certification and ability to communicate in English and/or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, testing, and therapy for detainees.
• Deliver individual and group therapy and case management within a Modified Therapeutic Community model.
• Direct and oversee a multidisciplinary team including staff and interns.
• Refer severe cases to outside facilities and assess mental illness using IHSC-883.
• Coordinate with medical staff on risk assessments and housing recommendations.
• Serve as suicide prevention program coordinator when needed.
• Train ICE and medical staff on mental health topics, including suicide prevention.
