Responsibilities

• Administers school elementary curriculum consistent with district goals and objectives.
• Responsible for grading and entering grades into the system.
• Promotes a classroom environment conducive to individualized and small group instruction and student learning.
• Develops lesson plans and translates them into learning experiences to maximize instructional time.
• Maintains accurate records of student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and laws.
• Ensures student conduct aligns with school standards and district policies.
• Coordinates with grade-level colleagues and participates in faculty and grade-level meetings.
• Supervises students during activities outside the classroom, including transportation.
• Administers standardized tests in accordance with district programs if certified.
