Qualifications

• Current and valid Minnesota Teaching license; or ability to obtain said license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction following existing curriculum during the regular teacher's absence.
• Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment and manage student behavior.
• Prepare lesson plans for the duration of the substitute assignment and adapt as needed.
• Assess student progress and communicate with students, parents and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and uphold school policies and professional standards.
