Qualifications

• Knowledge of current best practices and educational pedagogy.
• Knowledge of elementary school curriculum and literacy/language acquisition.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
• MA State Certification as an ESL Teacher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers language acquisition curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for effective instruction.
• Conducts ongoing assessment and adapts methods to student needs.
• Instructs students in citizenship and applicable laws and district procedures.
• Continuously pursues professional growth through seminars and research.
