Job description

We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join a fast-paced long-term care mail order pharmacy located in Vinton, VA. This is a 19-week contract opportunity with a consistent day shift schedule and the potential to extend or convert to a permanent role.

Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Hours: 9:00am 7:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and appropriate usage

• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff

• Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations and pharmacy protocols

• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify or resolve medication issues
