PharMerica is hiring a Full Time Pharmacy Technician in Austin, TX to support a closed-door pharmacy serving long-term care clients. You will fill prescriptions, label products, and handle compounding and data entry in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience in a clinical or long-term care setting.
• Ability to understand medical terminology and dosing.
• Proficient computer usage and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Accurately label products with cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into computer systems for labeling.
• Support inventory management and remove expired medications.
• Handle returned medications per protocol.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
• Work in the Narcotics room and operate automated prepack machines.
• Assist with IV medications and IV room sanitization.
• Support facility-based dispensing machines and related tasks.
