Job summary

Altruix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Long-Term Care pharmacy in Uniontown, PA. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on prescription processing, data entry, medication fulfillment, packaging, inventory, and day-to-day pharmacy operations.

You will be a primary contact for facilities, maintain resident profiles, and collaborate with pharmacy teams to resolve questions and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy and customer service setting.
• Ability to operate a computer and learn pharmacy systems.
• Ability to recognize and identify medications.
• Strong verbal communication, detail-oriented, and team player.
• Must meet Pennsylvania requirements for Pharmacy Technician.
• CPhT certification preferred.
• Experience with QS1/PrimeRx preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input patient information and medication orders into the system to produce prescription labels.
• Process new prescriptions and maintain resident profiles.
• Package medications for dispensing and labeling.
• Maintain inventory and assist with pharmacy-related duties.
• Serve as a primary contact for facilities and coordinate with other departments.
