Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Long Term Care LVN in Chico, CA for a contract - full time position. The LTC LPN assists the care team in delivering patient care in a long-term care or assisted living setting and demonstrates clinical judgment, coordination, and teamwork under supervision.

The role requires a valid LPN license for California, BLS, and successful completion of required screenings; one year nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license for the state of practice.
• Current health certificate, if applicable.
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of 80%+ in clinical specialty screenings.
• Amergis Background Screening Process completed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Pay: $40 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: Chico, CA

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the deliveryof care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilityin the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinicalspecialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Amergis Background ScreeningProcess
• Must be at least 18 years of age
