Job summary

Amergis Travel Nursing is seeking an LPN to provide care in long-term care and assisted living facilities across Pennsylvania. The role requires clinical judgment, efficient coordination, and adherence to nursing standards.

Candidates must be licensed LPN in the state, possess a current health certificate, BLS, and pass background/screening. Travel assignments offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the practice state.
• Health certificate if applicable.
• PPD or Chest X-ray current.
• BLS card current.
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• Background screening completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care for patients in LTC/assisted living with supervision.
• Make clinical judgments and coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to nursing standards and manage patient care delegation.

Job description

The Long Term Care LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Background Screening Process
