Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, is hiring a Long Term Care (LTC) LPN in Portland, ME. Travel position offers $2006 per week for 36 hours with full benefits and professional requirements to maintain licensure and sterility.

You will support the care team in delivering quality patient care in LTC/assisted living settings while adhering to nursing standards and accountability.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests with 80%+ in the specialty area.
• Background screening process completed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist the care team in delivering care to patients in Long Term Care/Assisted Living facilities.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, and coordination of patient care.
• Adhere to nursing standards and ensure accountability in patient care management.

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the delivery
of care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nurse
demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient
manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance ability
in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs
according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and
assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in
  which the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical
  specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Amergis Background Screening
  Process
• Must be at least 18 years of age
