Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care (LTC) LPN for travel assignments in Scarborough, ME. The nurse will assist the care team in delivering care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility, demonstrating clinical judgment and coordination of patient care with supervision.

The role requires active LPN licensure, BLS, and completion of required screenings. Travel, 36 hours per week, with weekly pay and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater.
• Successful completion of Amergis Background Screening Process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the deliveryof care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilityin the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS card
