Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care LPN for a travel assignment in Las Vegas, NM. The LPN will provide nursing care in a long-term care/assisted living setting, perform clinical judgments, and coordinate patient care under supervision.

Requirements include current LPN license for the state, health certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, BLS, and successful background screening. Benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Background Screening Process

The Long Term Care LPN assumes responsibility andaccountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long TermCare/Assisted Living Facility. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well ascritical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and isaccountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management ofpatient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS card
