Job summary

You will perform daily cleaning, restock supplies, assist with laundry, follow infection control protocols, and report hazards. Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety precautions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines specific to long term care facilities.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of all residents.
