Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. Join a team dedicated to positive resident experiences and community impact, with opportunities for training and growth.

You will perform daily cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, follow infection control practices, and interact respectfully with residents and staff to provide excellent service. This role requires physical stamina and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
