Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, and interact positively with residents and staff.

This role emphasizes adherence to infection control policies and safety guidelines, following procedures, and reliability. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must follow safety and infection control procedures, vaccination policy.
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation per procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
