Job summary

DiningRD is seeking a registered dietitian to work with skilled care communities. The RD will visit on-site Monday through Friday, about 20 hours per month, focusing on high-nutrient menus, regulatory compliance, and staff guidance.

Ideal candidates have CDR credentials, state licensure where required, and 2+ years of consulting experience. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• CDR credentials required and state licensure as applicable.
• 2 years of consulting experience preferred, long-term care experience desired but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coach and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Improve seniors' nutrition by ensuring meals meet high standards.
• Collaborate with clinical team to monitor residents' nutritional needs.
• Provide nutrition education and support to dining managers and staff; participate in policy development.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and sanitation best practices.
