Job summary

You will schedule visits, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with pharmacy staff to address client needs while ensuring survey readiness. The ideal candidate will hold a pharmacy technician certification with LTC experience, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable driving within Ohio.

Qualifications

• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician with long term care experience.
• Licensed healthcare professional preferred.
• Experience in nursing homes or assisted living settings.
• Background in pharmacy operations and patient services.
• Ability to lead, with good decision making and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform routine visits to assigned facilities.
• Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries from client facilities.
• Relate to client needs and coordinate with pharmacy staff.
• Share information with client facilities to resolve issues.
• Audit medication carts and back-up boxes for survey readiness.
• Audit antibiotics/PO/IV to ensure proper par levels and no expirations.
• Audit emergency boxes for proper seals and expirations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Administrators and Director of Nursing.
