Job summary

JR Enterprise LLC in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist with cardiothoracic expertise to join the Minneapolis VA Health Care System on a long-term, full-time contract with flexible on-call arrangements. Administer anesthesia, develop care plans with surgical teams, and provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for veterans.

Requires MD or DO, board certification in Anesthesiology, and an active U.S. medical license.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
• Cardiothoracic anesthesia experience preferred.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state).

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans with surgical teams.
• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Evaluate patient histories and perform physical assessments for anesthesia protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records following VA policies.
• Respond confidently to anesthesia-related emergencies.
• Contribute to educational programs and anesthesia practice improvements.
• Follow safety standards, infection control protocols, and federal regulations.
