Responsibilities

Administers school elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
Grading and entering grades into the system.
Maintains a safe classroom conducive to individual and small-group instruction.
Develops lesson plans and materials and translates plans into learning experiences.
Keeps accurate records of student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures.
Ensures pupil behavior meets school standards and district policies.
Coordinates with grade-level staff and participates in meetings.
Supervises students during activities outside the classroom including transportation.
Administers standardized tests per district programs if certified.
