Qualifications

• State Certification in Teaching.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support school regulations and policies.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Develops and administers school curriculum consistent with district goals.
• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates plans into learning experiences.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and modifies instructional methods to fit students' needs.
• Instructs students in the principles of responsible citizenship and other subjects as required by laws and regulations.
• Continues professional development through seminars and workshops.
• Maintains accurate records of grading and attendance as required by district procedures.

Education

Bachelor's degree in education

Master's Degree preferred
