Job summary

Zayo Group is seeking a Long Haul Fiber Test & Acceptance Project Manager in Colorado to oversee OSP deployment, manage budgets, and coordinate fiber splicing/test activities. The role demands strong project management, vendor interaction, and ASR coordination with customers and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in telecom, outside plant experience, and familiarity with budgeting and construction schedules.

Qualifications

• Five years of telecommunications industry experience with outside plant.
• Experience in managing large capital projects.
• Ability to coordinate splicing and testing of fiber OSP facilities.
• Familiarity with OSP management including quoting, construction, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of OSP vendors to expedite fiber splicing and testing.
• On-call weekly rotation to respond to outages and restoration activities.
• Coordinate access for splicing and testing at customer and PoP sites.
• Plan and implement fiber connectivity programs within budgets and schedules.
• Track progress and budgets in Salesforce and related trackers.
• Interface with customers, subcontractors, and authorities; travel as needed.
