Responsibilities

Public relations with customers; act professionally at all times.
Executes customer service requests and material logistics; reports complaints to Dispatchers.
Drops, spots or interchanges equipment for loading/unloading; weighs material entering/leaving.
Communicates professionally with company reps, fellow drivers, and customers.
Reads, writes and performs basic math to complete tickets, bills of lading, trip sheets, logs.
Demonstrates basic mechanical knowledge to communicate repair requests; understands trailer operations.
Performs tasks per DOT regulations and safety requirements; conducts inspections and hook/unhook trailers.
Works long hours with variable schedules; adheres to deadlines and delivery schedules.
Maintains stable job history and dependable attendance.
