Job summary

Nelson Brothers Incorporated is seeking a Long Haul Driver to transport products from the manufacturing plant to customer sites across long distances. The role requires a CDL Class A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and at least one year of long-haul driving experience.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs and paperwork, and ensure DOT compliance while delivering safely and on schedule. This is a full-time on-site position based in Kentucky with potential for additional duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum one year long-haul driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers product from manufacturing plant to customer sites over long runs.
• Loads and unloads product using appropriate equipment.
• Drives truck from plant to customer sites and returns.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and keeps vehicle clean and orderly.
• Maintains accurate driver logs and daily paperwork.
• Keeps current permits and DOT compliance for the truck.
• Performs DOT vehicle inspections for safety equipment.
• Generally performs other duties as deemed necessary by the company.
