Salary

$0.56 per mile & $3,000.00 BONUS!

Key Job Activities

1. Transport waste safely from a Stericycle or customer location to transfer or processing sites, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
2. Manage routes for safety, timeliness, and accuracy, following routing software schedules.
3. Plan daily/weekly schedules based on company or customer needs, reviewing necessary paperwork.
4. Overnight routes may require sleeping in the truck's sleeper berth, up to 4 nights weekly.
5. Communicate issues promptly to supervisors and ensure loads are secured and properly marked.
6. Perform planned drop and hook operations, and handle light or heavy objects as needed.
7. Experience with mountain driving and chain usage during weather conditions.
8. Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly, submitting it at debriefing.
9. Maintain high customer service standards, reporting problems proactively.
10. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting and ensuring repairs are completed before resuming operations.
11. Attend safety meetings and adhere to company policies.
12. Drive skillfully in challenging conditions, maintaining punctuality and reliability.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a valid Class A CDL and an excellent driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience, including mountain driving and chain usage.
• Preferred endorsements: Doubles, Triples.
• Ability to read maps and follow electronic directions, with basic computer skills.
• Mandatory immunizations or credentialing may be required based on client needs.
• Commitment to safety and careful driving practices.
