Job summary

Gotion Inc. in Manteno, IL is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Engineer to design and improve internal warehouse operations and logistics flows that support our manufacturing environment.

You will analyze material flow, layout, equipment, and data to reduce cost, improve throughput, and increase accuracy across 3PL and on‑site locations. The role requires hands‑on warehousing knowledge, engineering rigor, and the ability to build new processes in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in warehouse engineering or internal logistics engineering.
• Experience designing or improving warehouse layouts and material flow.
• Hands‑on experience with WMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions for internal logistics, including material flow and warehouse layout.
• Manage and optimize internal and external (3PL) warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze throughput, cycle counts, labor and space utilization to identify bottlenecks.
• Lead or support WMS and ERP integrations and related technology.
• Evaluate material handling equipment to improve safety and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for warehouse operations and logistics.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, planning, and quality teams.
• Support safety, FTZ procedures and hazardous materials handling requirements.
• Provide training on new processes, equipment and systems.
• Track KPIs and drive lean improvements in warehouse operations.
