Job summary

Commercial Sewing in Torrington, CT is seeking an organized Warehouse/Shipping Assistant to support daily operations under the Supply Chain Manager. You will help run shipping, receiving, and inventory control and ensure materials move safely and efficiently.

The role requires 1-3 years in manufacturing, a High School diploma, and experience with forklifts and hand trucks. A valid medical card to drive company trucks is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with manufacturing equipment, hand trucks and powered industrial trucks.
• Medical card required to drive company’s truck.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse and Shipping Lead in daily tasks and operations.
• Unloads and receipts goods and ensures proper labeling and placement in warehouse.
• Verifies packing slips against receipts and reports discrepancies.
• Conducts cycle counts and assists with inventory management as needed.
