Summary

Utilizing a team approach, this position is responsible for leading, planning, directing, and coordinating various operations departments of a warehouse facility. Duties include ensuring and improving safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and employee relations using the principles of TPS and other strategies outlined by the company and operation manager directives.

What You'll Do

• Monitor daily safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations of the facility using FMDS.
• Ensure customers’ needs are/have been met (follow up).
• Maintain a good working relationship with subordinates and act as a positive role model.
• Promote a team-like atmosphere.
• Develop/oversee improvement initiatives for operations using principles of Kaizen.
• Establish and modify procedures and workflows using Toyota Production System methods.
• Control warehouse budget and staff working hours.
• Assist with budget and monthly report preparation.
• Assist in developing and implementing training programs.
• Development of staff.
• Develop backup staff to support your day-to-day activities when absent.
• Complete all assignments by deadline unless under unusual circumstances, notifying CoC timely.
• Ensure KPI’s are met for the facility.
• Promote and lead 5S within the organization.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED, with 6-9 years of experience in a warehouse environment with leadership and supervision responsibilities.

Shift Time: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
