Job summary

LS Tractor USA LLC is seeking a Logistics Manager in Battleboro, NC. You will support the Production Manager in planning and scheduling tractor and implement logistics, managing inbound and outbound shipments and aiming to reduce transportation costs.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience in logistics within a manufacturing environment. SAP/Excel experience is preferred, with a day shift Monday–Friday and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 4 years in logistics/transportation in manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics/transportation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock to prepare for shipments.
• Schedule LTL shipments.
• Maintain shipping/receiving docs.
• Coordinate with Sales Support on shipments.
• Guide dock personnel on loading efficiency.
• Evaluate transport options for tractors/implements.
• Recommend ways to reduce transport costs.
• Negotiate carrier rates and contracts.
• Respond to issues and complaints.
• Stay updated on shipping carriers, routes, and rates.
