Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is offering an internship in Savannah to support the Transportation and Logistics team with day-to-day operations. You will gain hands-on experience in domestic and international shipments, import/export documentation, and analytics.

Selected interns will work closely with transportation professionals, participate in projects, and build practical skills while contributing to department goals and cost-management efforts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with expected graduation May 2027 or later.
• Interest in transportation, logistics, supply chain or international trade.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist tracking domestic and international shipments and provide status updates.
• Maintain transportation records, shipment logs, and filing systems.
• Support preparation and organization of import/export documentation.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Generate reports, dashboards and data analyses related to transportation activities and costs.
• Assist with freight invoice review, expense reporting, and cost management.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proof of delivery documentation.
• Support process improvements and special projects as assigned.
