Job summary

Blount Fine Foods in Fall River, MA is seeking a transportation coordinator to join our 2nd shift (1pm–10pm). The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage truck scheduling, deliveries, pickups and inbound freight in a busy environment.

You will allocate trucking resources, coordinate with Sales and Production to meet shipping requirements, use a TMS and Power BI for reporting, and support the Accounts Payable team with freight processing and claims.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with 1–2 years transportation experience preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage truck deliveries, pickups, and inbound freight.
• Allocate trucking resources efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Coordinate with Sales and Production to meet shipping requirements.
• Process freight claims and collaborate with Accounts Payable.
• Maintain on-time and in-full shipment tracking using reporting tools.
• Utilize TMS for automation and generate Excel reports.
