Penske's Logistics Trainee Program offers hands-on training across multiple logistics functions in Dallas, designed for individuals pursuing supply chain leadership roles. Trainees will gain exposure to loading/unloading, cross-docking, and customer service operations, with a fast track to leadership after graduation.

Program emphasizes Kaizen, Lean processes, and development of supervisory skills while offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or in progress (Business, Supply Chain, Data Science/Analytics or related)
• Demonstrated leadership through school, community, clubs/organizations, or military
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available for these positions
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms
• Commitment to learning, growth, and self-awareness
• Results-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team in a distribution center environment.
• Foster a safe, compliant, and efficient work culture.
• Align site goals with customer objectives and measure daily performance.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Learn site operating systems and apply Kaizen/Lean principles.
• Gain hands-on experience in inventory management, receiving, storage, and shipping.
• Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training and assignments
