Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Milan, MI is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments within the Transportation Management System. You will monitor shipments and drive service improvements to meet customer expectations.

The role requires coordinating with carriers, expediting moves, and ensuring paperwork is completed for efficient transportation operations. This is a full-time shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Two plus years of relevant experience.
• Problem solving skills, strong communication, and ability to work in a diverse and dynamic team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and withstand prolonged periods of walking and/or standing.

Responsibilities

• Tracking, tracing, and expediting lost moves.
• Point of contact for Dedicated Delivery Service provider.
• Coordinate all shipping needs for primary inbound/outbound carriers.
• Handle the non-parcel orders. Accountable for preparing all necessary paperwork and documentation.
