Job summary

Dow in Lone Star Operations, Deer Park, TX, is seeking a Logistics Technician to manage loading/unloading, storage, and SAP transactions while upholding safety and environmental standards.

You will collaborate with engineers, operators, schedulers, maintenance, and lab staff to ensure efficient product movement and quality control, and you will perform routine maintenance and training for distribution personnel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current, valid US driver’s license.
• U.S. work authorization with no visa sponsorship.
• No relocation assistance noted.

Responsibilities

• Product loading of railcars, tank trucks, isotainers, and flexitanks (bladder tanks).
• Product unloading hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Product storage operations; hose switching station operations; scale house operations; railcar cleaning.
• Enters Load In, Load Complete, and Shipment Complete in SAP for all shipments.
• Completes Tank transfers, switching and monitoring.
• Performs Operator maintenance duties including instrument lead clearing, small gasket change outs and line unplugging.
• Performs incidental maintenance (including changing out pumps and valves).
• Lift hoses, bolt flanges and operate valves and similar equipment including the proper clearing and isolation of equipment.
