Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a Logistics Technician in Fort Washington, MD to lead shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, ensuring secure handling and proper preparation of classified and unclassified items for shipment. The role demands coordination of off-site deliveries and government vehicle management in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate must have 3+ years in shipping/receiving, hold a valid driver's license, and possess or be eligible for Tier 3/5

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse procedures.
• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record to operate vehicles or equipment.
• Must hold and maintain Tier 3 (Secret) or Tier 5 (Top Secret/SCI) clearance as required.
• Must be able to access government worksite.

Scope of Work:

The primary purpose of this position is to lead shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure the efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and equipment. This position manages the preparation of both classified and unclassified items for shipment, ensuring compliance with all applicable shipping, handling, and security requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Prepare classified and unclassified materials for shipment.
• Coordinate off-site package deliveries and pickups.
• Manage government vehicles and transportation activities.
• Conduct inventories and maintain asset accountability.
• Barcode and track incoming equipment using government systems.
• Assemble and disassemble products and equipment as required.
• Order and maintain warehouse supplies and materials.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
• Support warehouse operations and logistics workflows.
• Consistently produces quality products andservice.
• Completes all training within the required timeline.
• Ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after maintenance tasks are completed.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years related experience with shipping and receiving operations, inventory control, asset management, and warehouse procedures
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
• Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
• Musthold andmaintaina Tier 3 (Secret Clearance) or Tier5background check(Top Secret / SCI Clearance),asrequiredfor the position.
• Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.
• Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.

US Pay Range

$35.76 — $35.76 USD
