Job summary

The Logistics Technician, Freeport, Texas, is an entry level production operator responsible for performing tasks associated with inventory control, loading, and unloading materials for tank wagons, tank cars, trucks, for inspecting and labeling raw materials, and preparing customer orders. You will support the site’s logistics capabilities by ensuring the operation and support of logistics equipment.

Associate degree or high school diploma with strong math and mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma with strong math and mechanical skills.
• Experience in inventory control or logistics is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound transportation.
• Inspect and label incoming materials and pull samples as required.
• Maintain 5S organization and ISO9001 compliance.
• Support process improvements with Logistics Coordinator and Engineering.
