Job summary

Moog Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Logistic Technician on 1st shift to join the Military Aircraft Group. You will report to the Inventory Control & Shipping Supervisor and work onsite at Moog (Jon St.).

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse/manufacturing, with strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a High School diploma or GED. Responsibilities include material movement, cycle counts, and coordinating outside processing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years or more of warehouse/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Pull and put away material to respective staging locations.
• Perform inventory reconciliation (2-Bins).
• Manage transactions for Nonconforming material physically and systematically.
• Prepare paperwork and send out items needed for outside processing.
• Complete Cycle Counts, Shelf-Life Management for paint.
• Expedite outside machining and processing through vendors as required to meet production schedules.
• Schedule courier (Jet) pickups and deliveries for incoming and outgoing OSP.
• Process Material movement physically and systematically.
• Create/prepare work order splits when partial lots are received.
• Monitor assigned queues; clear any aging WO.
• Receive and process inbound and outbound material.
• Investigate and resolve aging WIP and any other projects.
• Ensure transaction compliance.
• Direct the activities of the production truck driver in the movement of parts and all other activities.
• Assist in any dispatch task as needed.
• Assisted with inventory discrepancies and stock adjustments.

To be considered, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Support the timely meeting of production schedules by moving, coordinating, expediting
  and processing jobs throughout the floor.

• Package and verify parts assuring correct paperwork is sent and received.

• Provide direction to the activities to the team & production driver as related to vendor or
  Stockroom

• Assure timely and accurate response to Customers(internal/external) inquires related to technical specifications on OP sheet, material, delivery, and quantity questions.

• Participate in the normal dispatch material and paperwork flow.

• Provide back-up to the Dispatch supporting roles

Salary Range Transparency:

Torrance, CA $25.00-$25.00 Hourly
