Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise able to follow verbal, written and computer instructions in English and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools and measuring tools such as calipers and torque wrenches.
  • Reading electrical schematics is a plus and IPC training or soldering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic assembly using hand tools, torque wrenches, and simple fixtures under supervision.
  • Read and follow written work instructions and simple blueprints.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections, document results per process requirements.
  • Execute basic functional tests on bench equipment and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and ESD-compliant work area.
  • Record production data in job travelers or manufacturing systems; assist with inventory counts.
  • Contribute improvement ideas and participate in continuous-improvement activities.
  • Communicate part status and nonconformance to team leads and quality personnel.

Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Production Technician to join them. You will report to the Production Manager and will have an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in Orlando, FL.

To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you
  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Basic familiarity with hand and measuring tools (calipers, rulers, torque wrenches).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate of coursework in electronics, manufacturing technology, or related field
  • Basic soldering experience or IPC training
  • Prior experience in a lab, shop or maker-space environment
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
As a Production Technician You Will

Salary Range Transparency

Orlando, FL $17.00-$29.00 Hourly
