Logistics Technician

CACI is currently seeking a logistics technician for warehouse and operational support functions for the AFCENT IDS systems and program. The Logistics technician will work as part of a small team with the primary focus of supporting the fielding, inventory, shipping and handling, training, integration, and sustainment of these solutions with existing client infrastructure at OCONUS locations.

What You’ll Get to Do:
  1. Conduct inventory management of TASS/IDS systems in various locations and environmental conditions to support testing and evaluation operations.
  2. Perform operational support, monitoring, and inventories to support AFCENT operational requirements.
  3. Execute Return Material Authorizations (RMA) with CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  4. Conduct basic programming of Electronic Security Systems, including installation, upgrades, firmware, and software updates.
  5. Work with the deployed team to develop and conduct training on system care, use, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
  6. Maintain equipment inventories and generate monthly system and logistics status reports.
  7. Assess equipment status and inventory levels to support maintenance and repair, and provide system configurations/solutions to ensure operational availability.
  8. Interface directly with government customers as the primary logistics SME for TASS/IDS system support.
  9. Use the designated Logistics Management Inventory System (LMIS) for equipment traceability and generate custom logistics reports.
More About the Role:
  1. Manual lifting of objects up to 75 pounds and work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders or scaffolding, sometimes up to 100 feet high.
  2. Work in extreme weather conditions, including hot or cold environments with exposure to dust or dirt, requiring PPE.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the government Logistics Management System.
  • Prior OCONUS experience.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position is $43,500 - $86,900 USD, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off. Learn more.
