Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Logistics Team Member for our Brighton, CO facility to maintain safe operations while receiving, storing, and distributing materials according to schedules and FIFO principles. You will use inventory systems, read work orders, and prepare orders for shipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years in logistics or warehousing, and solid English communication with basic math and MS Office skills. You must lift up to 30 lbs and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of logistics, warehousing, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Intermediate computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft programs and inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials based on internal customer needs.
  • Read schedules and work orders to determine items to move or distribute; ensure FIFO practices.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins; assemble and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Accurately record material movements and maintain inventory records using computer systems.
  • Safely operate heavy equipment and vehicles to transport items within the plant or between locations.
  • Handle hazardous materials and waste in compliance with state and federal regulations, including documentation and transport.
  • Contribute to team goals and adapt to process changes; perform other duties as assigned.

Shift: Day Shift Mon-Fri 5:00AM-3:30PM or 8:00AM-6:30PM

What does a Logistics Team Member do?

Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules and procedures; actively participate in 5S activities.

Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products based on internal customer needs.

Read schedules and work orders to determine items to move or distribute; ensure FIFO practices.

Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins; assemble and prepare customer orders for shipment.

Accurately record material movements and maintain inventory records using computer systems.

Safely operate heavy equipment and vehicles to transport items within the plant or between locations.

Handle hazardous materials and waste in compliance with all state and federal regulations, including documentation and transport.

Contribute to team goals and adapt to process changes; perform other duties as assigned.

What skills/abilities must I have to qualify?

High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years of logistics, warehousing, or material handling experience preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Intermediate computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft programs and inventory systems preferred.

Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, climb stairs, and wear required PPE.

Regular and reliable attendance; ability to safely operate heavy equipment.

Salary: $23.50-$25.50 per hour
