Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Logistics Team Lead at the Griffin, GA facility. You will assist the Section Manager by coordinating workflow, prioritizing tasks, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on inbound/outbound warehousing, accuracy, and team leadership. Candidates should have 6 months of logistics experience, some team-leading background, and familiarity with MACH 1/WMS and SAP.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Logistics experience, Team Lead or Supervisor Experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• MACH 1/Warehouse Management experience and SAP is desired.

Responsibilities

• Establish daily priorities, provide feedback to supervisory team on employee performance.
• Coordinate employee training on work techniques and continuous improvement.
• Assist Section Manager with material handling and warehousing functions.
• Verify quantities, count parts, fill orders, and package parts.
• Maintain related records or reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Access and update information for receiving, counting, and processing orders.
