# Logistics Team LeadPosted: 5/14/2026Location: Decatur, ALJob Title: Logistics Team LeadDepartment: LogisticsReports To: VP of OperationsJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary: The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.* Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, quality control, deliveries and shipping of products.* Work with the Inventory Specialist to monitor inventory levels and dead inventory to ensure inventory integrity.* Ensure that all products are handled, stored, and shipped in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations.* Control the floor. Always know who is doing what task, make sure team members stay productive and on task, address problems immediately, keep workflow moving and prevent unnecessary downtime.* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse operations.* Communicate Problems Early. Inform VP of Ops of staffing problems, operational issues, or delays.
