Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking a Logistics Support Analyst to assist in logistics, transportation, and supply for submarine rescue systems and support equipment. The role reports to the Logistics Manager and collaborates with URC staff to uphold QA, maintenance procedures, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing ILS requirements, reviewing specifications, maintaining part/vendor data, conducting inventories, and supporting change actions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 - 3 years of logistics, procurement, or supply support experience.
  • Knowledge of Hazmat regulations and Navy CHRIMP guidelines is required.
  • Proficient with MS Office and basic database management.

  • Perform logistics support tasks and maintain records of parts and vendor data.
  • Enter parts data into LMI databases and maintain inventory records.
  • Support audits, configuration management, and change requests.

Job Description

OII-OTECH is seeking a Logistics Support Analyst who will support all aspects of logistics, transportation, and supply in the maintenance and operation of all submarine rescue systems and support equipment. The Logistics Support Analyst will report to the Logistics Manager and will work closely with the staff of Undersea Rescue Command (URC) to establish and enforce submarine rescue system Quality Assurance and maintenance procedures as well as operational and safety standards.

Essential
  • Performs technical/administrative lead functions associated with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for OTECH and its program contract deliverables;
  • Responsible for the development and/or review of all plans, technical documentation, specifications or planning/management and logistics data of all levels and types in accordance with commercial and military specifications and standards.
  • Review requisitions and product specifications for terminology and accuracy.
  • Maintain records of various part and vendor data, depending on project requirements, for traceability and historical reference to support change of scope requests and obsolescence tracking;
  • Conduct parts and material data entry into multiple custom Logistics Management Information (LMI) databases and maintain databases with current specification and inventory information;
  • Oversee and/or conduct physical inventories and physical configuration audits;
  • Oversee and/or create allowance lists, obsolescence tracking, and technical refresh plans;
  • Assist with engineering change instructions/orders and changes to configuration items and allowance parts lists.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in logistics, procurement, and/or supply support related jobs or activities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Hazmat regulations and compliance requirements, including Navy CHRIMP program guidelines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and database management.
  • Demonstrated intermediate level knowledge and skills with various LMI databases;
  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge and effective use of supply support processes;
  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of specific equipment and parts identification;
  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of specification review and parts validation;
  • Skilled in time management, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, written comprehension, information ordering, active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning;
  • Demonstrated knowledge Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) handling and tracking;
  • Intermediate math, administration, and management skills;
  • Ability to write business correspondence and interact with others in a professional manner.
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Specialized knowledge, experience, and compliance with SOC standards under NAVSEA reference P-9290 (System Certification Procedures and Criteria Manual for Deep Submergence Systems).

The hourly range for this position is $29.57 - $41.68.
