Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is a federal government contractor seeking a Logistics Support Analyst focused on system delivery, storage, and sustainment. The role involves coordinating logistics for government property, managing configurations across sites, and developing maintenance plans while ensuring compliance with preservation requirements.

Ideal candidates have a TS clearance, US citizenship, and a strong background in DoD logistics.

Qualifications

Active TS clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance.
BS/BA in technical, business, or management field from an accredited college.
12+ years of overall experience with 5 years in defense life cycle logistics.
Familiarity with DoD government property policies and procedures.
Experience briefing program office leadership.
Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

Coordinate logistics resources for delivery and storage of government property.
Manage logistics efforts for system configurations/reconfigurations at multiple locations.
Develop and implement maintenance plans for scheduled and unscheduled activities.
Identify problems and trends; create mitigation strategies and brief Government customers.
Assist in screening and selecting property for reutilization.
Administrate records, inventory corrections, and monitor government property inventory status.
Ensure proper handling and accountability of excess or surplus property.
Assist in stakeholder coordination and training for property storage.
Provide status and briefings to Government customers as required.
Provide acquisition logistics support including sustainability, reliability, and maintainability.
Conduct distribution and network studies to optimize delivery times.
