Job summary

Autoliv United States seeks a Logistics Support - 2 to ensure efficient flow of materials, products and information in the supply chain. You will coordinate shipping, receiving, warehousing and inventory, supporting production and delivery needs.

Responsibilities include expediting material flow, resolving issues, and collaborating with carriers and internal teams to improve performance. Forklift certification or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; logistics-related training is a plus.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing or supply chain operations preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and shipping documentation.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through transactions and cycle counts.
  • Monitor material flow and resolve logistics issues to meet requirements.

Job description

In this role you will beresponsible for In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain to support production and customer delivery requirements. The Logistics Support Expediter coordinates shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory activities, ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. This position works closely with internal teams and transportation providers to resolve logistics issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and optimize operational performance. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and material movement activities to ensure on-time delivery and uninterrupted production operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through proper transactions, cycle counts, and inventory control processes.
  • Monitor and expedite material flow, resolving logistics issues and shortages to meet customer and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external carriers to ensure efficient transportation, warehouse operations, and timely shipment execution.
  • Support continuous improvement, safety, and workplace organization initiatives to enhance logistics performance, efficiency, and compliance.

If you have/are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control, material handling, warehouse management, and shipping documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
