Logistics Supply Specialist, Mid

The Opportunity:

As an Asset Manager for a specialized section within the Command Post Modernization (CPMod) program, you will leverage your expertise to provide comprehensive oversight of the equipment ordering process for this critical initiative. You will manage the lifecycle of mission-critical assets from initial procurement through integration and deployment, ensuring operational readiness and maximum efficiency.

You will develop and maintain robust tracking systems that enhance visibility across your assigned section while serving as the subject matter expert (SME) on the equipment ordering process for all stakeholders. You'll facilitate equipment requests, monitor progress, and proactively resolve issues before they impact mission timelines. You'll coordinate closely with engineers, logisticians, financial analysts, and procurement teams to ensure seamless shipment and delivery of equipment, particularly for time-sensitive integration activities.

Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential as you maintain comprehensive documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery confirmations, to ensure audit readiness. You'll develop clear, actionable reports on equipment status for various audiences and ensure strict compliance with DoD policies, regulations, and directives. Through your collaborative approach with cross-functional teams, you'll continuously optimize the equipment ordering process to enhance operational efficiency and support the success of the CPMod program.

You Have:

  • Experience in DoD asset management or procurement
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Experience with asset lifecycle management from procurement through deployment
  • Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive inventory tracking systems
  • Knowledge of DoD policies and regulations related to asset management
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in DPAS, SMART, and WebVLIPS
  • Experience supporting ACAT II or similar DoD acquisition programs
  • Knowledge of integration processes for complex systems
  • Possession of strong organizational and time management skills
  • Possession of excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Possession of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
