O-I in Perrysburg, Ohio offers a Summer 2027 Supply Chain (Logistics) Internship. You will assist in multiple supply chain areas, learn critical processes like procurement, freight tendering and data analysis, and may lead small projects under supervision.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, English communication skills, and the opportunity to work on optimization and cost analysis within a global glass packaging company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (logistics, purchasing/sourcing, operations and transportation).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required.
• Previous internships considered a plus.
• You're legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. (O-I does not sponsor working visas for internships)

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamental business processes including plant procurement, freight tendering, data analysis, inventory tracking and production order management.
• Lead smaller projects; provide updates and improvement recommendations to management.
• Create and maintain key Supply Chain KPIs such as inventory and service metrics.
• Perform Spend Analysis and Master Data Analysis.
• Participate in transportation spend data analysis and freight tendering.
